Dimmu Borgir - Stormblast MMV re-recording

At first I was real skeptical about this re-release. My first thoughts were "why would they release this album again?" Well, the answer is in the re-release itself! The production was done by none other than Peter Tagtgren, frontman of Hypocrisy. The album just sounds so much better than the original one...it even says this inside the cover of the re-release. There are many special features that come with buying this album: two previously unreleased songs, Hellhammer on drums, and a DVD! All of the songs are killer, of course that's what I said about the original but everything is much tighter on this one. The DVD was filmed at an Ozzfest date in 2004. There's only five songs on the DVD but that was their whole set (I know cause I went to Ozzfest '04). If you like Dimmu Borgir and good production, you'll like the Stormblast re-release! ...and one more thing, all the lyrics are in Norwegian which makes good fun trying to sing along to while drunk! posted by Amanda
