Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine

A great follow up to Arch Enemy's last two albums, doomsday machine maintains the edge that Arch Enemy has established with their heavy hitting sound. The album opens up with an epic, instrumental, intro track setting up the feel for the album. The other instrumental track on the album is track 8, Hybrids of steal, which showcases the the guitar work of Michael Ammott and brother Chris in shredding guitar solos and grinding riffs. Other star tracks include Nemesis (my fave so far, check out www.archenemy.net to give it a listen), I am legend/out for blood, and Mechanic god creation. Well I could blabber on more and pretend to be a music critic but screw fuck it, go out and give the album a listen, we'll be spinning it on the show for the next few weeks. Oh and did I mention the lead singer is insanely hot and female? Here's a picture: http://www.archenemy.net/profiles/angela.jpg. score:8/10 Cliff 8-7-05
